An ongoing project involves establishing the branding identity for a YouTube channel dedicated to photography and filmmaking, blending creative storytelling with educational content. The channel serves as both an inspiring hub for visual storytellers and a resource for aspiring creatives, offering tutorials on how to improve their skills, behind-the-scenes content that showcases the company’s process, and original short films. With a strong focus on narrative and learning, the branding aims to reflect the passion, creativity, and technical knowledge that drive the channel’s mission.

Led the creation of the branding identity for a YouTube channel centered on storytelling and education in photography and filmmaking. Involved developing a visual language that reflects the channel’s creative spirit while supporting its mission to inspire and teach aspiring visual artists.


CHALLENGES

  • Finding a cohesive look that captured the channel’s tone and purpose required careful selection of colors, fonts, and design elements that felt both professional and creative.

  • Ensuring the branding looked polished and consistent across various screen sizes and digital formats (from mobile to desktop to TV) added complexity to the design process.

  • Developing a theme that enhanced the brand without straying from its focus on storytelling and education was a balancing act between creativity and clarity of purpose.

GOALS & METRICS

  • The goal is to create a consistent visual presence that reflects the channel’s focus on storytelling and education, with success measured by audience retention, subscriber growth, and brand recognition across videos.

  • Use branding elements—such as thumbnails, intro/outro animations, and lower-thirds—that not only elevate the content’s professionalism but also encourage clicks, likes, comments, and shares.

  • Design with scalability in mind so the brand can extend naturally into social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), tracked through growth in followers, content reach, and cross-platform engagement.
